Intermittent patches of fog at sunset led to a pretty neat photo-op, swirling like smoke inside a crystal ball!
Around midnight on 20 May 2019, we had a brief period of clearing allowing for views of moonlit landscapes along with lightning from passing thunderstorms to our northwest. At the tail end of a 30 second exposure, four bolts struck in rapid-fire succession along the NH/VT border. This image is the original wide-angle view.
