The early morning sky had plenty to observe - just below the waning crescent moon (big bright object center) was Venus (the next brightest object), Regulus was to its left, then Jupiter (third brightest object pictured and inline with the moon and Venus), and Mars nearly just above it. We even managed to faintly capture the Zodiacal Light too.
Taken 24 October 2015. Portland, ME is not a planet, we just used it as a reference point. Vir is the abbreviation for the constellation Virgo. There is also a labeled version of this image available in this folder.
